The C-Energy Group’s primary responsibility is to ensure a stable supply of energy to households and corporate customers, at low prices, and with the least possible environmental impact from energy production. Between 2012 and 2020, we invested more than CZK 2 billion in the modernisation of the C-Energy CHP plant in Planá nad Lužnicí. The outcome is a cut in air emissions by more than 90 percent.
But our responsibility goes further. C-Energy Planá also wants to be an engaged “citizen” of the Tábor region, and to contribute to the development of sports, culture and social life in the Tábor, Sezimovo Ústí and Planá nad Lužnicí area. We are aware of our social responsibility and are committed to supporting the development of the entire region.
The key area into which the C-Energy Group is channelling its sponsorship and partnership donations is regional sport, at both the competitive and recreational levels. We particularly focus on promoting activities for children and young people, as this is where funding is most often lacking. We also support social and cultural programmes, as well as selected organisations and associations that help disabled people in the region.
